Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) Notice

Pacific LightNet Inc. (PLNI) values your business and is dedicated to protecting your Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) against unauthorized use or disclosure. CPNI includes most of the information that PLNI has collected to provide your service. Examples of CPNI are the type of service that you have with us, your call detail records (who you called and who called you), the amount that you currently owe on your account, network configuration usage data and local and long distance calling patterns.

To protect our customers' proprietary information, we have enacted policies and procedures to authenticate our customers when calling in for support services; this includes password authentication as well as other means of verification. Complete and sign the Customer Account Access Authorization form to add authorized users to your account.

From time to time, PLNI will offer special offers to you for new services that we see as good complements to services that you already have. To make sure that we have selected only those customers who will receive the greatest benefit from the new service, we may utilize CPNI. If you do not wish to receive these offers you may opt-out of the marketing programs by filling out the Opt-Out form or by calling the Support Line at 808-791-3000. Note that opting out will not affect the status of the services you currently have with us.

PLNI does not sell CPNI to third parties but may provide CPNI to authorized third parties who are covered under non-disclosure agreements. These authorized agents act on our behalf, to help us provide you with PLNI products and services. The agents are bound by non-disclosure agreements which prohibit the disclosure of your CPNI to anyone else.

PLNI will not distribute a customer's CPNI directly to a requested third party other than a recognized law enforcement agency. All other requests for distribution of CPNI to a third party will be satisfied by delivery of the requested CPNI to the customer, who may then distribute the information to the party of choice. PLNI requires that requests for CPNI be in writing. To request CPNI, complete the Customer CPNI Request form.
